Availability – We would all like to have our voices heard, but working to sustain a livelihood, helping children with homework, attending extracurricular activities, and attending to civic and church responsibilities simply does not allow time to attend every school board meeting.
As your school board member I will be at the meetings and will be the voice for every hard-working, concerned parent and resident of the township. I will listen, and my vote on the school board will be the voice of the people of Franklin Township.

Fiscal Responsibility – As one of the fastest growing townships in Indiana, expansion to accommodate the growing school district is inevitable. However, frills and waste must be eliminated, expenditures minimized, and alternative-financing methods explored.
I will listen to the community and take your suggestions, concerns, and input seriously. I will vote in the best interest of the township as dictated by the taxpayers, not a select group of individuals who have been given a public trust.

Academics – Above all, we are interested in the best possible education for our children. We must hire and retain the most capable and dedicated teachers, support staff, and administrators. Our focus must be on improving upon the excellence in education that Franklin Township Schools have become known for.
I pledge to keep our schools “education-centered” and will strive to make Franklin Township Schools even better than they already are.
